Tour overview
- Trek through a part of the Namha NPA on narrow paths, bamboo forests and view the beautiful mountain range.
- Take in the beauty of the environment & learn the jungle cooking techniques using bamboo & banana leaves for a delicious Laotian lunch

- Tour ends at the highland village Ban Chalernsouk or Tha Sae of the Khmu people, indigenous people of the National Protected Area.

Day 1 Trekking
At 8:40 am, meet your guide at the office and take a minivan to the morning market to buy food for lunch. After a brief visit to the market, continue to the trekking trail.
Upon arrival, we’ll walk through the Nam Ha NPA, passing secondary forests and a shaded valley. Your certified guide will explain the local flora, wildlife footprints, and the importance of trees, plants, and leaves to the indigenous people.
We’ll stop for a picnic lunch and learn to cook Lao food using bamboo pipes. After lunch, we’ll trek through primary forests, enjoying the jungle scenery and large trees. Then, we’ll descend through the lush rainforest to the end of the trail.
Finally, we’ll visit Nam Lue village (Lanten Ethnic) to discover the authentic life of the locals. Return to Luang Namtha by minivan around 4:00 pm.
