Day 1
Meet your tour guide at 9:00 am at the office, then take a minivan to the hiking trail, stopping briefly at a local Lao market for supplies. The hike begins at 10:00 am with a 5-6 hour trek through dense rainforest, crossing streams and passing through valleys of cultivated land and primary forest.
Enjoy a jungle-style picnic lunch before continuing for another 2-3 hours beneath towering old-growth trees and past rice paddies, banana trees, and fields.
Arrive at Nalan village, a secluded haven preserving the culture of the Khmu people. After settling and, relax by the river, explore the area, or simply rest. A delicious dinner prepared by your guides caps the evening, followed by time to mingle with locals or retire to your eco-lodge or homestay.
Day 2
Wake up to the sounds of village life and enjoy an authentic breakfast. At 9:00 am, begin a 2-3 hour hike along the serene Namha River, passing towering trees, bamboo fields, and tribal villages. Stop at Namkoy village to meet the Lantan people and savor a Lao-style picnic lunch.
The trek continues with a 3-4 hour hike through pristine primary forest, teeming with diverse wildlife. The trail ascends to a 400m elevation, offering stunning views of the Namha NPA before descending steeply through the jungle. Arrive at Namlue village by 3-4:00 pm, where the trek ends. A 25-minute minivan ride returns you to the Eco Adventure office.
