Day 1
Start your adventure at 9:00 AM with a meet-up at the Discovering Laos office.
From there, you'll board a minivan and head to the trailhead.
Before hitting the trail, you'll stop at a local market to pick up supplies. Embark on a 2-3 hour hike through lush tropical forest, navigating hills and valleys shaded by the magnificent jungle canopy. Enjoy a well-earned picnic lunch, expertly prepared by your guides using local ingredients.
Continue your trek through an impressive primary forest teeming with towering mahogany trees, bamboo groves, and wild banana plants. Once you reach your campsite, learn how to construct a traditional banana leaf shelter or relax in a provided tent.
Day 2
Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by your guides. Embark on a morning hike along the Nam Ha River, passing towering cliffs and encountering hidden tribal villages.
Learn to prepare a jungle-style lunch using bamboo utensils and techniques taught by your guides.
Continue your hike through ancient forests, culminating in a scenic descent with breathtaking valley views.
Reach the charming Namlu village, home to the Khmu tribe. Explore the village, interact with the locals, and then enjoy a ride back to the Eco Adventure office.
